Nice action shot of Union Pacific 4-8-4 Northern #805 billowing out the black smoke while racing down the tracks at an unidentified location. History - Alco-Schenectady, 8/1937 Specs - serial #68813, class FEF-1, massive 77" drivers, impressive 300 psi boiler pressure, 24.5x32" cylinders, engine weight of 465,000 lb, tractive effort of 63,611 lb. The loco was "vacated" in May of 1959. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
