Blackhawk. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Philip R. Hastings that was taken in Renovo, Pennsylvania, in September of 1955. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania 2-8-2's Nos. 1194 and 26 ~ with auxiliary tanks ~ at Renovo, Pennsylvania." On the left is PRR engine #1194, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during January of 1917 and retired in February of 1958. Behind it is PRR engine #26, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during January of 1915 and retired in December of 1957. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Steam In Indian Summer" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (772-55).

Blackhawk. Here is the first of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by Philip R. Hastings that were taken near Renovo, Pennsylvania, in September of 1955. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania 2-8-2 No. 26 with westbound freight along Susquehanna River, Renovo, Pennsylvania." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #26, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during January of 1915 and retired in December of 1952 after 37 years of faithful service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Steam In Indian Summer" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (772-57).
