Description:  Here is a photo via Forrest W. Trittenbach of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #715, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during September of 1916 and retired in July of 1949. Partially visible at the far left is PRR engine #5053, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in October of 1913 and retired in October of 1949. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Williams Collection.

Description:  Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Modena, Pennsylvania, in January of 1950. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5053, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1913 and retired in October of 1949 after 36 years of faithful service. Note that the bell, generator, and main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. Gary Mittner Collection.
