Rock Island RR Shops in Silvis, Illinois         
Exact date is unknown. Scanned from a 11x17 print dated circa 1912, obtained from Antique America, Davenport, Iowa. BLW 2-8-2 #2566 Class K57 in foreground retired in 1940 and #1639 in background appears to be a Brooks 2-8-0 Class C39 built in 1903 or 1904. This per "Rock Island Motive Power 1933-1955" by Lloyd E. Stagner book.
