Here is another view of IC #8178 in the Jackson, MS yard. Originally built as ICG GP8 #7986 (serial #20764), it was rebuilt into ICG GP10 8178 and later relettered IC 8178 with the black shroud paint scheme and the "I-ball" logo. Eventually the loco was sold to C&F Locomotive in Patterson, GA on 3/15/2000. The photo is from the Conniff collection. |
