"Pennsylvania Railroad" is clearly visible painted on the 4th Street, SW, overpass, Washington, DC. The steel bridge connects to the stone Virginia Avenue viaduct on either side. Built as part of the grade crossing abatement improvements for Union Station in 1906-1907. In use by Amtrak, CSX and Virginia Railway Express. |
