| Here is another view of the unusual Reading "LEMTU" car - Locomotive Engineers Mobile Training Unit. Technically by this date the car belongs to Conrail but I couldn't find any record of it being listed as a Conrail car. It remained with the Reading Co name. It was used for air brake instruction, and later training in the operation of diesel locomotives. It contains operating controls for two diesel locomotives. The car now belongs to the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society. |
