| This westbound KCS grain train with KCS 4190 as a DPU locomotive would eventually be called in to the UP Emergency line by me due to a locked axle that was blowing out strong white smoke on the UP Houston sub in the Heights area. Dispatcher asked a crew to do a roll by and they eventually concluded it indeed was worthy of calling the mechanical department. Hopefully my call to UP wasnt "unnecessary" but I did what I thought was best. |
