| Nice color slide taken by Gerald H. Landaue of Maine Central E7A #706 heading up the "Kennebec" passenger train The date on the slide is February, 1974 which is obviously incorrect for a number of reasons. Trees with leaves for one. This loco was sold to KCS and remumbered #7 in October of 1963 for reason #2. And most telling, the loco was scrapped in 1969. So, the date is approximate and based partly on the cars in the photo, mostly late 1950's models. |
