Before the pieces of multi-unit well cars were permanently joined with a single truck, they had these metal bars as semi-permanent connections. These cars were spotted on a Canadian Pacific intermodal train in Franklin Park, IL. Its amazing to see cars still in service that are hooked together this way. |
