Union Pacific's Winona-Adams and Adams-Winona wayfreights (LTA-42 and LTA-41, respectively) are almost unique among freight trains in Wisconsin for still using a caboose on a daily basis. This is due to a shove move they have to make to access UP's isolated yard in Winona, and the car is not staffed while the train is on the road. |
