In honor of the nation's Bicentennial celebration, IHB #8776 was temporarily repainted in the red, white & blue scheme and wearing the slogan "Independence, Heritage & Brotherhood." IHB 8776 was built by EMD in July of 1949. Steve Gartner slide.
