| End coach of an empty Blue Train being pulled through Omiya station by EF81 #80. Blue Trains are overnight/long distance service-sets. It seems however, that Blue Train service may be coming to an end, as air travel and expanding Shinkansen service have mortally wounded the efficiency/profitability of this service. |
