OWLS wear
The shiny rail running left to right is the BNSF main transcon line through Newton. K&O run the low speed direction up and down in the photo. Note the pitting it has started to cause after 3 years of wear. The rusty looking rails parallel with the shiny track is a sacraficial rail that fills the gap between the flangeway and the mainline track.
