Eugene Cain	General	Max, the Defect detector was located a few miles south of Towsend at Cox. This was the wayside radio for the Dispatcher. Years ago there was a huge Antenna located right next to the building but it didn't last long after the tracks were removed in early 1986. I have a Picture from April 13 1986 just after the Tracks were torn up showing the Tower and building. The Defect Detector Houses are still standing at Riceboro and Cox. It amazes me this has survived 26 years since the line was abandoned in 1985.	4/4/2011 8:28:47 PM
