Rio Grande Heritage Unit Second Out at Coronado  Contributor's Pick!
After finding out about the crazy lashup on westbound UP MASHN passing Docs Caboose railcam around 12:01 pm, me and a freind decided to intercept it to Grinter Heights. However, an eastbound UP manifest had parked its cars in the way of the mainline, holding up all traffic until the locomotives hooked back up to their train and cleared the mainline. After a few hours, we were about to call it quits until we watched the eastbound manifest accelerate pass South 56th Street and clear the way for traffic to continue. Realizing what this meant, we tried to yet again intercept MASHN to a railroad crossing in Coronado just west of UP 18th Street Yard near Enterprise Precast Concrete. To our suprise, the leading power on MASHN was sitting right there: UP AC45CCTE 8204 and UP SD70ACe 1989 wearing a unique Rio Grande livery.
