This solid looking 4-6-2 Pacific type steam locomotive was a rebuild by the Great Northern Shops from older Baldwin blt E-14 class 4-6-0's. The reborn GN 4-6-2 #1365 lasted until the early 1950's before being scrapped. . Original rebuilt specs - class H-5-s, Belpaire firebox, 73" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 282,800 lb and tractive effort of 40,511 lb. The entire class was retired and scrapped between 1950-55 except GN #1355 now undergoing restoration. This is a Robert Graham photo.
