| Rebuilt by the Great Northern Shops from older E-14 class Baldwin 4-6-0's, GN 4-6-2 #1358 was reborn as a better performer. . Original rebuilt specs - class H-5-s, Belpaire firebox, 73" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 282,800 lb and tractive effort of 40,511 lb. The entire class was retired and scrapped between 1950-55 except GN #1355 now undergoing restoration. This is a Robert Graham photo.
