| Nice image if a covered hopper with "Rocky the Great Northern Goat" logo. This form of the logo dates back to 1936 with variations in colors used and some wording variations as well. The 51'2" covered hopper was built by the American Car & Foundry starting in 1965, part of a 100 car order.It had a 4,650 cu.ft capacity and 3 outlets. The image comes from the original negative now in my collection and photograed by Hoosier rail fan Dick Berry. |
