Here is the second of two official photos of the "John Bull" replica. The original locomotive was built in England during 1831, transported to North America on a wind-powered ship, and thereafter utilized by the Camden & Amboy Railroad. This replica was built in the Pennsylvania Railroad's Altoona Works during September of 1927 and is presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. |
