If you look closely you can see the engineer waving at me. Also can anyone tell my why this loco is designated as a GP39V?

Zach Haggerty General It is part of a rebuilt program for several GP35's that began in 1990. The "V" indicates the engine was rebuilt by VMV Entersprises. Locos with an "M" indicate, such as a GP39M or GP40M were rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen. GP39E's were rebuilt by EMD. 4/24/2010 4:54:03 PM
