Switching Lilly
Title:  Switching Lilly
Description:  This switcher is reversing to go to the wye and head south to pick up some cars parked near Lilly. However, before it can, it is interrupted by a car driving around the gates in front of the train. They avoided the train but did not make it around the barrier, ripping it off and leaving it dangling in the way of the tracks. The car sped off while the switching crew stopped to pull the wrecked gate out of the way.

Local Power
Title:  Local Power
Description:  The power for M781 is tied down on the old N.C.& St.L. Columbia Branch trackage at Lewisburg. This line originally ran from a connection with the N.C.&St.L. at Decherd, TN to Columbia, TN. The section between Columbia and Lewisburg was abandoned in 1945 while the section between Decherd and Fayetteville hung on until the mid-80's. CSX uses the remaining few miles to serve the Berry Plastics facility on the east side of Lewisburg.
