"The Pennsylvania Special," Page 32, 1972
Description:
Here is page five of a five-page article by Hamilton Peltz entitled "Highballing The Pennsylvania Special." It was published originally in the April 1972 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 32. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7002, an E-2A (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata during 1902, rebuilt as an E-7SA in August of 1916, and retired in December of 1934 after 32 years of faithful service.
