Description:
MP U30C number 7 is the trailing unit on a WB freight entering El Paso in May 1973 behind a quartet of SD40s (704, 744, 729, 705). It was the first unit of MP's second order for U30Cs and delivered as MP 966 in 1969. Like the rest of the class it number continued to change, becoming MP 3306 and MP 2971 before retirement in 1984.
