Description:
A variety of rail equipment await their fate at Adams Steel in Anaheim, California, on June 26, 2010. Among them is BNSF Railway GP9 1621, which rolled out of EMDs factory in February 1956 at Northern Pacific 252, and was later numbered 1875 while in service on the Burlington Northern. A former Santa Fe GP, which belongs to the scrapper, sits to the side of the 1621, and another former BN GP is at the opposite end of the passenger cars.

Description:
A nice sight to see a pair of BN GP9s still out together at the Coast Rail Services/Adams Steel Recycle yard. I believe these units have an owner and most likely won't scrap them. A GP7u lurks in the background.
