Album Info:This series of photos follows the WAterville to BucKsport Extra on August 10th as it traveled east from Fairfield to Hermon Pond, Maine. Track speed was about 10 mph so keeping ahead of the train was quite easy. If my count was right the consist was made up of 49 cars, 34 boxes, 5 gons, 6 tank cars, and 4 covered hoppers. I suspect some of the cars were to be set off at Northern Maine Junction for the MMA or to be part of a PAR train headed on east to 'Keag at MP0 and the New Brunswick Southern. /DL
