Great action shot by an unknown photographer of a pair of Pennsylvania RR steam locomotives assisting a freight train. No date, photographer or exact location was given for the photo. The missing photo after the RRPA crash was re-posted on 3/8/2025.

Description:
Beautiful action shot of a pair of PRR 2-10-2 helper locos filling the air with smoke plu,es as the help pushed the freight train around Horsewshoe Curve. History of 2-10-2's - Buiilt by Baldwin & Alco during 1918-19, the helper 2-10-2's were important support power especially at Horseshoe Curve near Altoona. PRR N5 caboose #477754 rides at the end of the train just in front of the helpeers. No date or photographer was listed for the photo.
