Album Info:My first three years of railfanning the Canadian Pacific's Tomah Subdivision and Watertown Subdivision, part of their Chicago to Twin Cities mainline across Wisconsin. This is one of the busier rail lines in Wisconsin and the only one with regular Amtrak service. Some days it seems like all you see is CP's red, widecab GEs, but patience and luck will yield a wide variety of classic and colorful diesel power.

Description:  Sitting on the (disconnected) former interchange track to the UP Clyman Sub (ex-C&NW Janesville-Fond du Lac line). The sign says "SET BAD ORDER WHEEL HERE". I was all set to enter this engine in as CP 6084 until I saw that the Flags logo on the side was in even worse shape than usual, and took a closer look at the nose.

Description:  These were the coke trains which ran over CP between the Indiana Rail Road and Roseport, MN. These units were being leased by INRD in the late 20-aughts, later their red and white SD9043MACs appeared on these trains. My dad or I never did catch the MRL units actually moving.
