Title:
CB&Q E9 9990
Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad E9 9990 eastbound at Naperville, Illinois on August 10, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The days of the single level green commuter coaches (class PA-14) are numbered. Two new bi-level gallery cars are at the back of this train, and as deliveries continue from Budd, the PA-14's will all be retired by the end of the 1960's. Some will continue to survive in MOW service into the BN era.
