PRR 2021, BF-16, 1963         
Volkmer. Here is a color photo by William D. Volkmer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, in February of 1963. Prominent here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2021 and two more "BF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #2021 was constructed in March of 1952, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in January of 1967. Visible at the right is a trio of "EF" Class units built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each.
