| Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in August of 1923, this loco went on to serve the CN for nearly 36 years before being retired and scrapped in August of 1959. Specs - serial #64497, class S-2-a, 63" drivers, 188.5 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 314,800 lb, tractive effort of 55,621 lb. Although no date, location or photographer was given for the photo, Bruce Gemmel was able to find the info. This was taken by James A. Brown on 12/30/1958 at Stratford, Ontario.
