LV 17, "Doodlebug," c. 1939
Here is an original photo of the Lehigh Valley Railroad's "Doodlebug" #17. It was built by the Electro-Motive Corporation during August of 1929, streamlined in 1938, and retired in January of 1951 after 22 years of faithful service. Many thanks to Mr. Mike Woodruff for identifying this classic car correctly! The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded. ("Hbogie"; #3 of 3)
