Bob Carter General This is GPB-17d 6622 a Canadian National F9B built by GM in 1957. It was transferred to Via Rail in 1978 and reportedly sold for scrap in 1994. 4/13/2017 4:07:07 PM
Matt Bradley General Maybe I should retitle this as a 21 year old scrap pile on rails? 4/13/2017 5:30:03 PM
John Flanigan General The WCLR reporting marks should be an easy indicator of where it was between 1994 and 2015. During that time it served the Waccama Coast Line/Carolina Southern (CALA is 9163's immediate heritage). That line largely liquidated due to right of way issues that it could not fix. In 2015, RJ Corman took over operations of the both railroads in South Carolina. 8/20/2020 10:33:37 AM
John Flanigan General This unit was moved to CO in 2012. See the CALA 6622 page for pictures of it's move. 8/20/2020 10:42:08 AM
