Caltrain #506 Wreck
Title:  Caltrain #506 Wreck
Description:  Caltrain 919 sits at the site of a collision on March 11. The engine, leading train 506, struck three MOW vehicles in San Bruno at 10:33 AM, one minute before its scheduled stop at Millbrae. According to the NTSB report from the accident, the train impacted the MOW equipment at 63 MPH, 16 MPH under the speed limit. The MOW crew had ceded track occupancy at around 9:58 AM, but was still on track 2 when the southbound train entered the area.
