Album Info:An early morning email I received, sends me to the places I once worked on the PE 3+4 local out of Akron. It's the first time I've seen any action on the EL in Rittman in over 30 years. I was not about to miss this.

Description:  We had a second track here, our job here was to set off PPG cars for ABBRR to spot, and pick up the outbounds off the other track. Today AB crews do all the work here.

Description:  I used to go into this depot nightly to pick up and drop off waybills. Our job here was mostly transfer oriented. On an occasion, we would have a car to spot or pick up for a local customer, or a shop car that someone set off. Chessie handled the switching at Morton Salt and Packaging Corp. of America.
