Description:  NJTR 4300 sits at the back of the Dover storage yard with one of the new ALP-46 electrics delivered earlier this year. The Geep was built in 1968 as Penn Central 3189 and was upgraded to GP40-2 standards by Conrail's Juniata Shops in 1995 as part of a trade involving NJ Transit's disposal of the ex-EL U34CH locomotives.

Description:  Once a commuter club car on New York & Long Branch trains, CNJ 1201 has been restored to represent a Blue Comet observation car and is now used as a first class car on the museum's train rides. Acquired by Whippany Railway Museum in 1994 with the full restoration completed in 2010.

Description:  The Whippany Railway Museum has commenced restoration of its former US Army Alco 0-6-0 4039. The locomotive is known for running on excursions out of Whippany from 1965 until the Morris County Central Railroad's departure to the NYS&W tracks at Newfoundland in 1973.

Description:  Donated to the URHS by New Jersey Transit, this car will remain in Whippany until there is space for it at the URHS yard in Boonton. One of the last intact Erie Lackawanna Comet I cab cars, it will be paired with the URHS' other two Comet I coaches and EL U34CH to create a typical northern New Jersey commuter train of the 1970s.

Title:  SOU 385
Description:  Built in 1907 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Southern Railway, this locomotive also spent time on the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway of Piney River, VA before migrating north to haul tourists on the Morris County Central Railroad in New Jersey. Inactive since 1978 and donated to the Whippany Railway Museum in 2008, it has been restored to its original Southern livery. Named "Joseph Supor Jr." in honor of the man who saved it from the scrapper's torch in 1999 and took care of it until his death in 2007.

Description:  A plaque from the US Postal Service commemorates the Black River & Western's participation in the dedication of the American Steam Locomotive Stamps in 1994. The ceremony took place at the Whippany Railway Museum on the Morristown & Erie Railway during a railroad festival that involved excursions with BR&W 60 and NYS&W 142. The plaque hangs in the waiting room of the Ringoes station.
